OTUKPO/AKPA 2027: ONDAJE WELCOMES RESOLUTION OF INEC NAME OMISSION, REAFFIRMS CANDIDACY*
*OTUKPO, BENUE STATE* — *Hon. Stephen Ondaje*, the *NIGERIA DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (NDC* candidate for *Otukpo/Akpa State Constituency* in the *2027 Benue State House of Assembly election*,
has welcomed the resolution of the recent issue concerning the omission of his name from an earlier publication by the *Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)*.
The development brings an end to the uncertainty that followed the initial publication
and further confirms *Ondaje's* determination to continue with his campaign
and engagement with the people of *Otukpo/Akpa State Constituency*.
Speaking on the development, *Ondaje* expressed appreciation to his supporters, party members and well-wishers
for their patience, prayers and steadfast support throughout the period.
He urged his supporters to remain focused and united,
stressing that the attention should now return to the important task of presenting a credible alternative
and a clear vision for the constituency ahead of the *2027 election*.
The *NDC candidate* reaffirmed his commitment to providing *new hope, a new direction and purposeful representation*
for the people of *Otukpo/Akpa*.
He further called on the people of the constituency, particularly young people and other stakeholders,
to remain actively involved in the democratic process
and to carefully assess the vision, character and capacity of those seeking their mandate.
According to *Ondaje*, the resolution of the INEC issue is an opportunity to move forward with renewed confidence and focus.
He therefore thanked his supporters for standing firmly with him
and assured them that the campaign would continue with greater determination, peaceful engagement
