It’s comforting to know that even Elvis Presley, the greatest performer the world has ever known, sometimes got nervous before stepping on stage. You can see it in these rare clips.

It reminds us that nerves don’t mean you’re not ready, they mean you care. Even the King himself felt the weight of wanting to give his best every single time. And every time, he stepped out there anyway, gave his heart, and made history.

So the next time you feel those butterflies, remember, even Elvis did too. Take a breath, straighten that collar, and walk out with confidence. Greatness isn’t about never being nervous, it’s about shining through it.

I am so excited to bring you Jay Dupuis as our featured cover artist in Issue Three of The Essence Of Elvis.

Sometimes this journey takes you to places you never could have imagined, places that humble you, move you, and remind you that you’re right where you’re meant to be.

Today, I had the absolute honour and privilege of interviewing Jay Dupuis - The Ultimate Elvis, Graceland’s Ultimate World Champion Elvis Tribute Artist.

It was an afternoon filled with laughter, emotion, and heartfelt stories as Jay opened up about his incredible journey in the Elvis world.

The moments and memories he shared truly touched me and I can’t wait to bring them to our readers in the next issue of Essence Magazine Australia’s The Essence of Elvis.

I’m constantly amazed by the doors God opens and the people He places on this path. Truly humbled and so very grateful.
