Chevrolet’s second-generation C/K trucks, known as the “Action Line," marked the brand’s move into more refined, car-like pickups while keeping the rugged backbone of earlier models. Among them, factory 4×4 K10s have become some of the most desirable survivors, especially well-sorted examples like this original medium green short bed. Sold new in Texas, it still wears its dealer-installed rear bumper and presents with preserved patina over a lightly refreshed chassis and drivetrain.
Under the hood, this K10 runs a Goodwrench 350 V8 with a Comp Cam, aluminum intake, Holley carb, headers, and dual Flowmasters, all dressed to look stock with its orange engine paint and factory-style air cleaner. Power is sent through a rebuilt TH400 automatic into a Positraction rear with 3.73 gears. Suspension benefits from a 2-inch lift with Rancho shocks, while new BFGoodrich KO2 tires wrap stock steel wheels with chrome caps. Inside, the rare uncut dash, new bench seat upholstery, and fresh dash pad keep the cabin period-correct yet comfortable.
