Introduced in 1984 as a compact companion to the full-size Bronco, the Bronco II was Ford’s answer to the growing demand for smaller, more maneuverable SUVs. Riding on a shortened Ranger chassis, it packed real off-road capability into a nimble, city-friendly footprint. The Eddie Bauer Edition added an outdoors-inspired aesthetic and premium touches, making it one of the most desirable trims of its day. With its 2.9L Cologne V6 and a true four-wheel-drive system, the Bronco II offered solid torque and trail capabilityfor its size.

Powered by a rebuilt 2.5L 300Tdi turbo-diesel and paired with an R380 5-speed manual gearbox and LT230 transfer case, this nut-and-bolt restoration pairs the highly-capable D90 platform with upscale touches. Finished in Pennine Grey with a contrasting Alpine White roof, it rides on color-matched Wolf steel wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2s. The fully restored chassis was powder-coated, the axles and brakes were rebuilt, and the suspension upgraded with new Bilstein B6 shocks, factory-spec springs, and comfort-spec Polybushes.

Inside, it’s been completely reimagined with Chocolate Leather heated seats, four individual rear jump seats, sound deadening, Exmoor Trim matting, and two-tone Alcantara trim.
