Mary Sampey was the youngest of 4 children in a close-knit Catholic family and was raised in Ohio. She can be described a very positive, enthusiastic and upbeat person. She attended Catholic schools through college. She was captain of the cheerleading squad and was voted as the classmate with the most school spirit in high school. Her family were hard workers and were very involved in the community.

Love is a gift from God, both divine and human love, a fruitful life. A fruitful life lived in the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit brings forth in our transformation generosity and gratitude. In humility we need to be patient, learn to appreciate and accept ourselves as we are, and trust in God’s merciful love to achieve all He has planned for us.

Angela Rizzo’s journey began in the Bronx, NY where she lived until the age of 28. Born into an Italian – American family she lost her mother to cancer when she was 12 1/2. With a loving father, younger brother and lots of extended family Angela grew up feeling loved. But in her teen years she began to suffer from anxiety, worry, fear of death and hypochondria. She was newly married at the age of 22 but feeling sad and lost. Then she was introduced to a charismatic prayer group at her local parish. It was there that the Holy Spirit began the process of healing her heart and her mind.

Kitty Cleveland raise in a devout Catholic family in New Orleans, LA. She was the middle child of six girls. Her father was a lawyer and wished for all his daughters to follow in his footsteps. Kitty had a dream of her own, to become a singer on Broadway and see her name in lights. But she chose the path her father had for her and became a lawyer. After three years in her profession, knowing she was unhappy, she left. At the same time, her father was convicted of a felony and sentenced to 10 years in prison. It was devastating for the family because he was innocent. The word the family received from the Lord was that his power was made perfect in weakness and that His grace was sufficient in this time of trial.

Michele and his twin sister, Francesca, were born four years to the day after their brother, Carlo, died.

Today, they saw him become Saint Carlo Acutis.
