✨ Honesty Check-In ✨
Yesterday I shared this on IG, but I had to bring it here too because it’s been a game-changer for me. Last week I went low-to-no carbs/sugar, stayed in a calorie deficit, and focused just on cardio + abs (shoutout to the Stairmaster & elliptical 🙌🏽). The difference I feel in just one week is wild.

Sometimes it’s not about doing more, it’s about doing different. 💜

Flashback to when I first got my Sisterlocks and someone said they looked like ‘skinny little snakes’ and would never look good. Well… look at me now. Boom, baby! Growth looks good on me! ✨

Lately, I’ve been in a space of just enjoying my Sisterlocks for what they are—beautiful, freeing, and totally ME.
We talk so much about styles, products, and care tips (which are important!), but sometimes the most magical moments are the ones where you’re just feeling good in your crown.
It’s been a journey, and I’m loving every step.

It’s not often I get my hair braided or styled—but after my retie, I wanted to switch it up a little! This relaxed look feels so good, and I love that I can enjoy the style now and take it down later for even more loc magic. Still very much in love with my Sisterlocks—9 years in July!
Sometimes I wish I started even sooner, but I’m just so thankful for the journey. Hope y’all are as excited as I am!
