For our last Postcards of the summer we’ve kept it close to home, with two incredible Postcards coming in from the Midcoast of Maine, and Minocqua, in the North Woods of Wisconsin. Both destinations emblematic of a true American summer, with lake and sea swims, the world’s best lobster and fudge, and references to old school Americana. Also in this week’s newsletter we’ve featured a great poolside souvenir straight from Bordeaux, an easy and transportive Aguachile recipe from Isla Holbox, and we’ve ungated our Napa/Sonoma Black Book with all of our NorCal favorites in the area. All earth-toned minimalism, every room faces the water, and five restaurants plus three pools and spa make it an easy place to sink into full relaxation mode. Read more in our Guest Book on our site, and in this week’s Newsletter!

Our first postcard comes by way of , all the way the remote Danish island of Ærø, accessible only by ferry and best explored by boat, or bike!
