For six years, Pratik Joshi had been making a life in London, quietly working hard and holding onto a promise he made to his family back home in India. He wanted to give his wife and their three little ones a better life a safer, brighter future.
Every late-night call, every form filled, every sacrifice made was all for this moment. And just two days ago, his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, a devoted physician, stepped away from her career, ready to finally join her husband and reunite their family. Their home was packed up, final hugs exchanged, hearts full of both hope and nervous excitement.
This morning, the five of them boarded Air India Flight 171. They snapped a joyful selfie on the plane, sending it off to loved ones a picture of a new chapter just about to begin.
But that moment was the last.
The plane went down. No one survived.
In an instant, dreams that took years to build were gone. A family’s future, full of plans and promise, was lost in silence. It’s a cruel, gut wrenching reminder life is so unbearably fragile. Everything we cherish can be gone without warning. So please… don’t put off joy, don’t hold back love, and don’t wait until “someday” to truly live because you never knoww when it will be your last.
