Tomorrow, Wednesday 21st June, at 6.30PM we’ll be doing an InstaLive Q&A with staff from the School of Agriculture and Food Science. This is a great opportunity learn about the School, the programmes on offer and UCD. This week, the School of Agriculture and Food Science hosted a summer school for 5th years, with students getting an opportunity to see the School, tour the campus, and learn more about SAFS and UCD.

The UCD summer school is a brilliant opportunity for secondary students to meet professors, talk to past and current students of the School, learn more about our programmes, and tour the amazing campus and facilities.

Students could choose a Food Science and Human Nutrition focus, where they took part in hands-on activities like sensory science workshops, or an Agricultural Science focus, where they had the chance to head out to UCD Lyons Farm.

We hosted over a hundred 5th years, and hope to see them again soon as students of the School of Agriculture and Food Science in 2024!
