In 1990 Lati Kronlund wrote and produced ‘Where Love Lives’ for Alison Limerick It was remixed by Frankie Knuckles and Dj David Morales and became a club classic. Arthur Baker heard the record and contacted Lati about working together. They formed Brooklyn Funk Essentials and Peace Bisquit became their manger. Bill was introduced to Ollie Buckwell by Giant Step and they signed to Dorado Records, releasing ‘Cool and Steady and Easy’ in 1994. In 2018 Alison joined the band as lead vocalist and they recorded and released a funk version of the song. Today, 35 years later, ‘Where Love Lives’ is being featured in the John Lewis & Partners Christmas Ad and the latest Brooklyn Funk Essentials single ‘Never Give Up’ with Ebba Åsman and Desmond Foster is a radio hit across Europe. lnk.to/nevergiveup2025

Project 23 was a groundbreaking and critically acclaimed collaboration between Cleveland Watkiss MBE, Marque 'The Inna Most' Gilmore and DJ Le Rouge. Originally released only on Vinyl in 1997 this single features remixes from Boymerang and Ray Keith. Their album '23' was hailed as a landmark album by Straight No Chaser and wickedly futuristic by Melody Maker. on Dorado Records, standing the test of time.

UK Garage producer Sunship aka Ceri Evans, the mastermind behind the seminal Sweet Female Attitude anthem ‘Flowers’ and viral hit ‘Friendly Pressure’ (Into The Sunshine Mix) by Jhelisa, returns with ’Southern Freeez’ a modern club cover of the hit by Freeez. The original version, released on Beggars Banquet, reached no 8 in the chart in 1981. Out today on Dorado Records.
