Are you getting enough fiber? The winter always pulls me back to fiber arts. Been taking it easy as we get ready for the new year but I’ve got like 40 new project ideas idk what to do with 😮‍💨 but for now, slowing down has felt so good.

Bamboo page butterfly 🦋 I used alcohol markers, colored pencils, and posca markers! Layering mediums has been very fun - don’t know if I’ll ever stop 🙃

Ive been inspired by to fall back in love with making art, trying new mediums, and filling up my sketchbook 🌱✏️♥️ I was in an art slump most of the winter/spring - but im starting to feel giddy about making art again and it’s been so healing.

Side by side of a sketching session. Drawing something multiple times has always been tough for me. But it helps me to see where I can improve! I like taking notes all around these sketches so I can remember what I adjusted. Have a gr8 day 🌸♥️

I’ve made a lot of things this winter. After a very busy holiday season and costuming a show, I felt this itching need to create, with no goal other than “finish the thing”. It’s been a very good winter indeed. ❄️
