The Monthly is published quarterly by Information International, a leading Beirut-based research and consultancy firm. The publication is available in both Arabic and English languages, and examines economic, cultural and social issues in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq and other Arab countries. It also publishes opinion polls and surveys and conducts interviews with prominent Arab and foreign figures in Lebanon, including ministers and members of parliament. Hundreds of publications are published regularly in Lebanon and the Arab World; however very few, give reliable numbers; and even fewer publications analyze these issues relying on statistics and accurate figures. In 2002, The Monthly was launched to fill this vacuum and bridge the gap between perceptions and facts.
