The Lynden Players are proud to present their 2012 pantomime ‘Cinderella’, which will be showing in Middleton Cheney Village Hall from Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th December. Performances start at 7.30 pm on all three evenings and there is also a matinée on the Saturday, starting at 2 pm. Tickets are £6.50 for over 65s and children, and £7.50 for other adults for all four performances. It will be a great show – a truly traditional panto, but with a few modern twists! There will be music, singing, dancing, a little bit of magic, plenty of panto jokes, the story of Cinderella and her friends and two very ugly sisters!

Last night I went....with the lovely Oxfordshire lad (who happens to be a musician...) Nick Wilson, to the O2 Academy, Oxford. Lianne La Havas took the intimate venue by storm. Gorgeous, silky-voiced and refreshing with her mellow, jazzy, personal songs....she performed with her talented band...many numbers from her album 'Is Your Love Big Enough'. Lianne bantered with the enthusiastic crowd and I can't recommend seeing this amazing artist highly enough.....let's hope she's in Oxfordshire again soon! Lianne La Havas is definitely the next BIG THING!!
