Recently, I watched a celebrity show up for a morning interview in the TV news studio looking like they had just rolled out of bed. (They likely did.) A live interview isn’t the time to channel “I just woke up” energy by wearing a wrinkled T-shirt or sunglasses indoors. Your audience and interviewer want to see your eyes, hear your stories, and walk away feeling like they learned something about you.
Whether it’s a behind-the-scenes moment, a meaningful collaboration, or a cause you’re passionate about, bring stories that make people lean in. The best interviews happen when you bring great stories, not just yes-or-no answers. Being a great interviewee is how you get invited back. Every. Single. Time.
Start with thoughtful storytelling, and engaging soundbites, and maybe ditch the sunglasses indoors. Few people beyond Lenny Kravitz can pull off dark shades indoors.

Oh what a night!! Rave round, dance breaks, surprise singers, twerking challenges, and what those guys did with a pink stuffed sloth and a sparkly toy.
So much fun!
Go to @bingo.loco with your friends who like a great party and a chance to win some prizes. And thanks @russellxraymond for being a sassy, slightly naughty host who filled the room with positive vibes. And @djkaaosjones for the best tunes.

Make Every Minute Count
Not all media appearances are created equal. A live TV interview might be just a few minutes, while a podcast could go on for hours. Each one requires a unique strategy to make sure your message lands—and stays with your audience.
Whether you’re on for five minutes or two hours, it’s about balancing passion, presence, and purpose. When done right, people don’t just remember you—they remember your message.
How are you preparing for your next moment in the spotlight?

Talented athletes and artists and those who represent them know that success isn’t built just on the field or stage—it’s built in the moments between.
When I work with clients, we focus on creating a strategy to turn downtime into opportunities.
We map out their wish list whether it’s a new skill, a passion project, or building connections.
The key is thinking strategically and making your time work for you.

Stage Presence and Off-Stage Persona
In my workshop with the incredibly talented musical artists at @laampmusic we dove into something big: how to show up off-stage. Spoiler alert—it’s not about perfection or finding some mythical balance. There’s no such thing.
Whether you’re sharing your everyday life, diving into activism, or keeping things private, it’s about making the choice that feels right for you. Your audience? They’re curious about more than who you are on stage or screen-they want to know you.
I help artists and creators figure out what parts of their story they want to share and how to make it stick. Want to bring that same energy to the mic, the camera, and beyond? Let’s talk.

Ever thought about your media appearances like you’re painting a masterpiece? No pressure, right?
But seriously—every interview, every feature is a brushstroke. So, what kind of story are you creating? Is it bold and colorful? Or is it a bit of a scribble (no judgment, we’ve all been there)?
It’s your story. Don’t let a single opportunity go by without adding your signature style. 🎤
Make sure your media moments add a splash of vibrant color to your brand’s story.

I think my mother-in-law may be my #2 fan second to my husband after she learned about an NBA athlete I media trained. Over breakfast one morning she shared a story about a player for the Denver Nuggets and how well he spoke to the press. When I asked her for his name it turned out I had media trained him.
When it comes to nailing your media moments, don’t leave anything to chance. Whether you’re giving a quick soundbite or diving into a full-length feature, how you show up matters. And guess what? It’s not about being perfect—it’s about crafting your narrative and owning the spotlight like it’s no big deal. ✨
That’s where I come in.✨ Whether it’s prepping for a major interview or helping you sharpen your story, I’ve got your back. Think of it as media coaching meets a personal hype session, wrapped in some serious results. 💥
Want the same confidence when the cameras roll? Let’s make it happen.

Tired of the same old ‘What do you do?’ snooze-fest? 🥱 Let’s shake things up! Next time, ditch the job title and spill the tea on what makes you tick—your passions, your hobbies, your guilty pleasures.
Whether it’s your secret salsa dancing skills or your knack for gourmet cooking, let’s make our chats about what truly excites us.
Because guess what? Life’s too short to be defined by your 9-to-5 (in reality 9-6,7,8) 🌟
Remember, we’re more than our resumes!
I’ll go first: I play tennis 3x a week and my game is always better when I play with people who are better than me. It drives me to focus more on how they hit the ball to determine where it’s headed on the court. If I miss a ball I usually say say f@ck, sh$t or my softer version is frig. It’s more empowering than saying sorry.
I have a passion for creating unexpected portraits of friends and some randomly cool people who are up for being in front of my lens.
I’m jazzed knowing a friend is using a portrait I took of her for her interior design book with Random House coming out this summer while another friend is using one on her for the Spotify cover of her latest song release.
