I really think BBE has had such a big impact on a whole new generation of lovers of black music - through its label of countless releases, compilations and reissues, and through its physical space at , where me and host our bi-monthly parties.

The amount of times I’ve said on my radio show, it’s a reissue on BBE. I’ve owned BBE releases before I even knew what BBE was - the MAW 10th anniversary CD being my first!

Ep 1 - out now! All shades of house that I love. Big vocals, bumpy basslines, deep chords, beautiful keys. Finally got that Tahj Monet in a mix🫢

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, specifically so I can push the boat out a bit and explore some of the music I don’t play out as often, but still love to listen to. This will be through the realms of house, soul, funk, jazz, broken beat, Latin, rnb - who knows, we’ve got a whole year and 11 mixes to come.

If anyone can think of a good name for this series - I’m all ears lemme know below 😂

Friday night summed up in one video ❤️

dropped the forthcoming remix of I’ll Be There For You - the whole room came together, and that will go down as one of our favourite nights we’ve put on so far.

So much love to the for the space to build this community and curate over the past year and a half. Even more love to the community of people coming down time and time again. And biggest love to all the DJs that have played with us this past year. We aren’t stopping anytime soon and we’ll be back for our first date of 2026 on 13th of February 😇
