2025 memories ❤️

My 4th year at Southport, and third year DJing here. Always immensely grateful to be on this lineup, and gotta thank .alex and Nick 🙏 Two sets this year, opening the Powerhouse (will be releasing that set recording) and the Beachcomber 🤩

Musically it’s special, getting to see the likes of Leroy Burgess and Jazztronik, plus a whole host of local and international DJ talent. But it’s also getting to spend time with so many people I love and admire. Until next year 😇Thanks to for the video

On Monday, my dad joined me on the as part of their Beats BoAts n Bloodlines series ⚓️

Luckily, it’s quite easy to interview someone you’ve known your whole life. We spoke about who he grew up listening to, how he’s influenced my taste in music, and his journey to get his record Astrotrax - The Energy into the right hands. It was a really heartwarming show to do 🙏

What a special end to the year ❤️🥲🙏

I shared 2 lineups with last year, but it’s a different story being called up the day before by Pete from BBE and asked to play a warm up slot for him. Genuinely, it means the absolute world knowing Pete thought of me, and trusted me to do it well.

Brazilian Beat was one of the first records I ever bought. To Be In Love will always be with one of my favourite house records of all time. There’s something about a MAW production that ticks every single box when it comes to my taste - soul, rhythm, groove. Nuyorican Soul, Elements of Life - this is the stuff that touches my soul and this is the guy behind them. (Honorary mention too).

I definitely fell in love with house music through his productions as have many other people - so it was a really special night 🙏

Saturday: Opening the main room at early doors before the Amy Winehouse band - 5:30-7:15PM. Amy was probably my entrance into jazz and soul music so a big honour! 🎷
