As dawn broke over Cape Coast, history was written in colors of unity and culture.

His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, and Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III were received by Osabarimba Dr. Kwesi Atta II, Paramount Ruler of Cape Coast, and Nana Ekua Abookyi VI, the Paramount Queen Mother, with chiefs, drums, songs, and dances showcasing Africa’s rich heritage.

In his message, His Majesty reminded us that before borders, we were Africans — bound by shared history and destiny. His call: to rise above divisions and embrace unity across the continent.

But as we celebrate unity abroad, a burning question remains at home:

Etung is not just blessed with rich cocoa produce — it is also home to incredible talent!

Over the weekend at the prestigious Glasshouse Lagos, we proudly celebrated sons of the soil making waves in music and creativity.

In a colorful ceremony filled with family, friends, and team members, Etung-born artist Cardesh presented the ₦500,000 Currency Challenge prize and a grand dinner buffet to the winner, our very own Deborah Ojong also proudly from Etung.

This moment reminds us that from Etung, not only do we harvest cocoa, but we also nurture greatness.
