WHICH KIND OF LOVE
On the first day she visited me at my place. I remember it was Sunday; she woke up in the morning of the next day and noticed that she was in her period. She was so embarrassed and so much ashamed.
She couldn't get out of bed because she doesn’t know how to tell me or react due to our relationship were only a few weeks old.
Eventually, after happen this situation she asked me to show her where she could wash the sheets. I told her to left and do myself.
She got emotional and cried too much. Seeing her cry like that, I felt like I was stabbed with a knife on my chest. It was indeed so painful.
I held her hand looked at her, and then kissed her on her forehead. I told her that, it wasn't her fault.
On that day, I was supposed to go for work but seeing that my woman wasn't feeling well, I took a day off just to make sure she's okay and happy. My conscious couldn't let me go to work knowing she was not okay.
I took the sheets and washed them. Ran a bath for her and went to the nearest shop to get her some pads, gave it to her my sweatpants and vest to get comfortable in.
Made her a milk tea, rubbed her tummy, cooked biliani food for her, and we ate together snacks, lately on watched my lovely movies especially comedian and romantic movies and chilled all day at home in my ghetto.
I knew that attending periods during that situation was not an easy thing. And we as men don't have to be disgusted by them. When we say I love you, we don't have to just say it, but prove it in actions as well.
I knew that going to the periods for ladies is by nature not a choice, I still understand that. That's why I still cared for her and showed her much love.
