Go on then, flee ya conservative gronks, make housing in NYC cheap and affordable.

No one will miss you.

Same tired threats every fkn time. You get it everywhere. The conservatives said they'd flee Australia if Albo won.

Leave then, I'll drive ya all to the airport, one at a time if I have to - on the house free of charge.

Is this worse? Is it a case of better the devil you know?

I don't know how they manage to talk with Albo's c**k jammed so far down their throats.

There's not many good men in parliament. This is one of the few good men, and this idiotic true believer Labor cult page attacks him.

With friends like that, who needs enemies? These people are so fkn dumb, so in a Labor cult, they don't even realize they're helping the mining/energy robber barons they claim to oppose.

You can't blame Howard forever. At some point, you have to realize your own s**t also stinks, Liberal Ideology. Albo did not even introduce a gas reservation policy. No ticker, Mr Speaker. And not only does it make our bills higher - but those higher energy bills go into the cost of virtually everything in the market.

If Labor just largely continue the same policies as the Liberals, what's the point of Labor? Fake workers party. The party of Gough is long gone, and it's now just a business first party cosplaying as a workers party, and the halfwits at this page haven't figured it out yet, despite decades of being sold out.

Homelessness and poverty have increased since Albo took power, despite him telling us every two seconds he grew up in the commission with a mum on the pension. Are they gonna suck him off over that too? At what point - if ever - will they say enough is enough, we're sick of being sold out by this fake workers party?

The difference between myself and them? I am not a pathetic excuse machine for sellout politicians just because they aren't Tories. Labor is almost as bad. The only saving grace is they don't want to do things like destroy Medicare - but they're still a disgusting sellout business first party pushing up poverty, and for the most part, just copy the Liberal Party policies because they're too beholden to rich man donors and they don't have the ticker for a fight. Albo is too busy partying with the billionaire Pratt to fight him on anything.

Here's double prescriptions! Try not to be homeless as we make a housing crisis worse now!

Energy analysts are already questioning the three hours free policy from the government.

Most people can't even shift their energy usage to be in that window - because they're at work.

The analyst here is basically saying what I said earlier - they will not eat the profit loss and they will look to recoup any lost profits the policy causes. If you think it will result in cheaper power - then you don't understand capitalism.

Neoliberal 'tinkering at the margin' ideas like this aren't the path to more affordable power. Renewables are not and have not made power cheaper - we continue to pay more and more. Labor's $275 lower energy bills never resulted, at least in the way they said it would. They had to do handouts which was our public money subsidizing the private profits - another s**t idea.

We need to take back the entire energy system back into public hands - not part of it, all of it. That is the only way you will get affordable power. That and pimp slapping the mining oligarchs back into line, and forcing a better deal out of them.

I know it's big, I know it's not what the government wants to do or will do. But if you want the real answer, that's the real answer.

A lot is riding on Mamdani. If he fails to make things better, if the rich successfully stonewall him and make it impossible for him, if Mamdani cannot overcome that - a lot of damage will be done to left wing credibility - in the US but even here in Australia. We watch what happens in the US and take in some of their politics as if it's our own. Just look at how many Trump bootlickers there are in this country. If Mamdani loses the fight against capital, it will hurt the progressive cause here, too.

It's a hell of a lot to put on one man's shoulders and I don't want to put it all on him, but that's how it's gonna be, it's just how it is and the nature of politics. There is a real big picture riding on Mamdani and becoming mayor is just the start of a serious fight against capital in NYC and what happens next will determine whether progressives make gains or whether we are crushed by capitalism yet again.

IF you think these privatized power companies will give you three hours for free - you are living in an alternate reality.

Any loss of profits? The companies will seek to get back through prices. They are not going to sit there and eat this.

It sounds nice, but it's futile and really it's just pathetic governments with no ticker trying to look good without actually tackling the problem because it would be a fight against the rich and their donors.

This would only work if the electricity system was owned from start to finish publicly. But it's not, it's privatized.

Hey NYC, I'll give you ONE good reason to vote for Mamdani that trumps these twenty.

The biggest c**t on earth - Rupert Murdoch - doesn't want you to vote for Mamdani. And so his propaganda machine publishes this drivel.
