So Im doing some tonal match transition sets this week and mismatches next week. Does anyone have suggestions on some movies that are visually similar that would be fun to transition to/from? Please drop em!!

Not a sync test still, but working the camera from 2000 to 2010. This s**t is so much fun! Camera and movie compatibility testing next week then moving into sync and speed ramping tests.

So this is just a late night post to show that the camera work is pretty much going the way I want now. I told it to do a Hallway, Doorway, and Window and it did. Even did a speedramp within the prompt without it even hitting the timeline yet. Not gonna lie, this is pretty fun. Lucy > Purge btw.

On a previous post, I had made mention of how I would be using AI very minimally with bridging certain clips together. With Start/End Frame transitioning becoming more cinematic with Kling and Minimax, I put a small clip here showing a "slowed" down version of what I described. Keep in mind, these are 10s transitions meant to be less than a second. Its only meant to demonstrate the possibilities I can do rather than lazily just drag down a preset that shakes, blurs and flashes the footage.

On this test; Megan 2.0 (2025) > Night of the Comet (1984) > Die Another Day > Logo.

The logo tests will also be helpful with this, rather than spend money on After Effects templates and enduring long render times.

So its no so much the lack of motivation, or footage, but im having a ridiculous time putting together a tracklist that sounds good when all mixed for DW2 ...i gotta be honest, ive never been this frustrated tryin to mix audio.... ive been listening to too much dark synthwave and its ruining my samples...Or maybe im out of the loop on who the modern, if any dubstep artists are.

Regarding AI:

I know i havent made too much mention of this. I showed an initial apprehension for it, much due to my lack of understanding how it could help or hinder. I noticed on Apple Tree II, I do normally rely on flashes and blurs to stitch my clips together. If not, more than anything, ive made an emphasis on them more than an "organic" editor should. So to correct this crutch, Id like to create an alternative. Creating a movie clip that doesnt exist so to speak, as a transition clip to the next "original" scene.
Rather than bore you with examples, i would rather demonstrate the prospect in practice. So future edits will hopefully reflect these changes.

Slowly pulling it back together... Its been a rough year. But the good news is I learned to co-exist with new tech and figured out a cool way to adopt it into future projects. Sorry for taking so long :(

Due to lack of engagement the last couple years, Dubwar 2 and all subsequent projects have been cancelled. I guess its the end of that era. Everyone wants Ai videos now. Its been a blast yall! Cheers!

Been up pullin clips from 2009 titles for DW2! Getting all the movies I only had trailers for used in Apple Tree I. So It will be nice to have EVERYTHING for DW2. And marking AT1 clips as "LEGACY" so they dont get reused.
