🌹Man Utd v Brighton Review🌹

It was another brilliant match day for Manchester United again as they ended their woeful stats against Brighton at Old Trafford.

Goals from Matheus Cunha (24), Casemiro (34), and Bryan Mbeumo (61, 90+6) ensured that Ruben Amorim's side are now three wins in a roll. It may be too soon but I think Manchester United are back somehow.

👉 Match Statistics: Goals 4-2, possession 43-57, total shots 14-17, on target 9-5, off target 4-8, blocked 1-4, saves 3-5, total passes 432-568, completed 351-486, tackles won 14-12, Aerial duels won 15-18.

👉 Line-up:: Lammens; Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw (Heaven 65); Amad (Dorgu 70), Fernandes (c), Casemiro (Mainoo 70), Dalot; Mbeumo, Cunha (Ugarte 82); Sesko (Zirkzee 82).

👉 What we learned:
✅ Manchester United are back maybe not to their old self but building something new.
✅ They are definitely now top four contenders if not even the title.
✅ Lammens is a proper stopper and has come to stay for good.
✅ Mbeumo, Cunha to mention but few are all on fire contending for every ball.
✅ Many may not agree but Casemiro in the midfield is the engine room of Manchester United.
✅Above all, we are still work in progress.
Up Manchester United!!!

🌹Man Utd v Brighton Preview

It is understood from the press conference given by Ruben Amorim that Mason Mount and Harry Maguire may or may not be involved in the clash at Old Trafford. While Martinez is still out, Mazraoui was an unused substitute at Anfield which means he's available for the game against Brighton.
In this match preview I am going for Amorim formation/system of 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 while going for who I think should start (preferred XI) this match against Brighton.

👉 Match Info:
Venue: Old Trafford
Time: 17:30 BST (Sat.)
Referee: Anthony Taylor

👉 Preferred line-up

31 Lammens

23 Shaw 4 De Ligt 15 Yoro

3 Dorgu 8 Fernandes (C) 18 Casemiro 16 Amad

10 Cunha 30 Sesko 19 Mbeumo

Coming fresh from the win at Anfield that made it back to back win, I am optimistic that this game can make it three wins in a roll for Manchester United.

As a Manchester United fan or an observer, what are your expectations for this game and is the preferred XI okay by you? Let's get your opinion on the above.

👉 The following are worth to note:

✅ It was a solid performance from the players even though they were outplayed by Liverpool as the stats shows.
✅ One thing that was needed was the win and they won it as a team given their all
✅ Also Manchester United now have a proper goalkeeper in Senne Lammens barring any unforeseen in the future.
✅ It was Manchester United back to back win in 16 months and Ruben Amorim first back to back win in the league.
✅ Like I said in other posts the true test of this team will come when they will fall behind with one or two goals in a match but until then it is one game at a time.
