Your “lack of focus” or ADHD might not be a weakness. It might be your superpower.
Procrastinators are incredibly efficient when they finally move.
Lazy people often find the fastest path to done.
ADHD minds don’t always do 10 calls a day, but they might do 50 in one sprint, and that’s more momentum with less friction.
That’s leverage.
People who don’t want to do tasks often invent systems or hire others to do them.
That’s how companies are born.
A-students work for B-students.
C-students own the building.
D & F students run the operation.
Some, like me, would’ve flunked out of elementary school if it weren’t for great teachers and parents who helped me work through a learning disability. I had to work twice as hard to get A’s and B’s. Without spending 8 hours a night on homework, I wouldn’t have made it.
But the upside?
It gave me grit.
And that became one of my biggest advantages in life to this day.
Bill Gates said he likes giving jobs to lazy people because they find the most efficient way to do it.
So stop thinking it’s a flaw.
It might be your edge.
Lean into it
Be an efficient, overachieving, lazy genius.
