Drama as INEC Officials Abscond With Election Results in Katsina
Voting was cancelled in two polling units in Wakilin Yamma II ward, Katsina local government area (LGA) of Katsina state, after ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) “stole” election results.

In the first instance, the INEC presiding officer (PO) in polling unit (PU) 004, Wakilin Yamma II ward, made away with the results for the presidential election after voting had already taken place.

Ogun East Senatorial Election Inconclusive – INEC
The election results of Ogun East Senatorial District was on Monday declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Returning Officer for Ogun East, Prof. Chris Onwuka of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), said that the decision to declare the election inconclusive was based on the principle of INEC.

Biodun Olujimi, senator representing Ekiti north and Duro Faseyi, her counterpart in Ekiti south, have lost their reelection bid to their All Progressives Congress (APC) opponents.
