Theodore Stewart "Skip" Weshner (August 8, 1927 – December 22, 1996) was an American radio disc jockey on stations in New York and Los Angeles from the mid-1950s until the mid-1980s. In particular, he hosted a popular show on KRHM-FM in Los Angeles.[1]

Your dad introduced me to so many artists from around the world. His power was bringing accessibility to fabulous talents — many of whom went on to stellar careers. Our family learned so much from him.

I remember once when he was comparing versions of the country-folk tune, “Blue.” He played several versions, then played Joan Baez’s version. Now, I *love* Baez, but couldn’t help but laugh when his comment afterward was something like “Well, now we know why the dog died.” 😂

May your good memories of your times with your God-dad, Gordy help sustain you as you grieve his passing. 💞
