📢 **Exciting News from EatLoco's CEO: Dan Hine** 📢
I'm thrilled to announce that in March 2025, EatLoco will be launching Loudoun’s first-ever OPEN AIR MARKET, every Sunday at the Dulles Town Center Mall in Sterling, VA! This new outdoor venue will provide hundreds of “local businesses” with a chance to promote and sell their products to the public, bringing even more opportunities for our community to connect with the amazing entrepreneurs right here in Loudoun County.
What makes this even more exciting is our partnership with Dulles Town Center Mall. Their prime location and dedication to supporting the local community provide an incredible platform to reach more customers than ever making to this true Destination Market. With over 7,500 parking spaces available, the market will offer easy access for visitors, creating a central hub where the community can gather, shop, and support our business men and women.
While we’ll continue to feature our amazing farmers and food producers, this new market goes beyond just food. EatLoco’s Open Air Market at Dulles Town Center will provide a unique space for all types of businesses to thrive, from artisans and crafters to start-ups and local service providers. It’s more than a traditional farmers market; it’s a vibrant hub of local creativity, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit. We’ll also have different local musicians every week, a generous seating area (some covered), and, of course, it will be dog-friendly, just like all our markets!
This market is a win for the entire community:
🌱 **For Customers:** You'll discover a wider variety of unique, locally made products.
🛍️ **For Small Businesses:** It’s a platform to grow, gain exposure, and build strong customer relationships.
💼 **For Our Community:** Partnering with Dulles Town Center helps keep dollars in Loudoun, strengthens our local economy, and creates a thriving, connected community.
We can’t wait to bring you this exciting new experience and continue supporting the amazing small businesses that make Loudoun County so special! Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the launch, and thank you for being part of the EatLoco family! Vendor sign ups for the EatLoco OPEN AIR Market at DTC will begin on February 1st, 2025.
There are plenty of exciting surprises in store for this new market that I can’t reveal just yet, but as we get closer to March 2025, you can expect to see more of what Loudoun’s newest destination will bring. You won’t be disappointed!

Mark your calendars! On October 5th, we are hosting our annual brunch fundraiser to support the essential work we do at Loudoun Serenity House. Every dollar raised helps us provide housing, mental health support, and peer recovery programs for those who need it most. This is your chance to be part of someone’s recovery story. Will you stand with us and help make a difference?

The ‘League for Extraordinary Lifestyles’
Every notice that every issue of Leesburg Lifestyle Magazine includes a "Giving Back" section? What may have been too subtle -- and the reason I'm calling attention to it here -- is that our ADVERTISERS are themselves largely responsible for the organizations and good works that we spotlight throughout the year. Each and every one of them are part of what I've started to call the "League for Extraordinary Lifestyles": local business people who are as concerned with doing good as with doing well and who, lead by example!
It would be impossible in this small space to call them all out, but looking back on our inaugural year, I am particularly struck by The Wine Kitchen's singular effort to convert the rooftop of the downtown parking garage for a gala fundraiser benefitting Mobile Hope of Loudoun. Matthew Bowe and Paul LaPointe of River's Edge Landscaping both have rolled up their sleeves to help Habitat for Humanity, Tree of Life Ministries and many other causes they're too humble to name. Ketterman's Jewelers more subtly donates 10% of its till on the first day of the month to local charities. The National Conference Center has opened its kitchen to feed families impacted by government furloughs, hosted countless fundraisers in the Black Olive, and dazzled our taste buds with their contributions to our charitable galas. Katrina Schlothauer and her team at USHEALTH Advisors delivered brand new, top of the line back-packs to needy school kids. The Bank of Clarke County doesn't cook, but gives generously to sponsor charitable events and provides a way for its employees to do the same.
All of them, regardless of the work they do in secret, support the efforts of Leesburg Lifestyle Magazine to show our readers, the wealthiest families in Loudoun County, fun and rewarding ways to get involved in our community. In keeping with our company motto, Proverbs 3:5-6, we encourage you to show them your appreciation by patronizing them when your needs call for a product or service they provide. Sculpt, shop, eat, build, design, travel, seek advice and in every way possible share your good fortune with all those wonderful people who are themselves givers, 365 days a year!
If you’d like to join this exceptional league, supporting the work we do to tell great stories about how YOU care for your community, come join us! Drop Melinda ([email protected]) or Hann ([email protected]) a call and let us tell your story.
