Have we lost sight of the fact that fat people are… people! People that, just like people of other body sizes, deserve the same rights. Honestly, where is our sense of empathy guys.

Food can become such a marker of identity and that’s exactly what happened with Sarah Britton from My New Roots. In this episode of Bite Back, we chat about her journey post-raw veganism and what it’s like to reincorporate animal foods. Check out the full episode on Amazon Music!

Our gut plays such a important role, with our intestinal barrier keeping out pathogens and our gut associated lymphoid tissue, which carries out immune responses. Plus we know our gut microbiome plays a huge role in keeping us healthy- why dietitians are always recommending FIBRE!

Intentional weight loss doesn’t have to mean gnawing hunger keeping you up at night 😒

For most women, it would take restriction and physical activity beyond what’s healthy to get defined abs. We need some body fat for hormonal function and that’s ok. Some women are able to be healthy with abs, and that speaks a lot to genetics. All bodies are different!

The internet can make nutrition complicated with crazy fat, diets, pseudoscience supplements, and trends that have no scientific evidence. If you’re looking to improve your nutrition today without any BS, the Hunger Crushing Combo is my signature and non-diet approach to nourish your body without restriction. Since I clearly couldn’t explain it in 15s… let’s chat more here. Yes, processed meats do increase risk of colorectal cancer and other chronic diseases, but we have to put it into perspective. Research shows that 50g of processed meat daily increased risk of colorectal cancer by 16%. But when it comes to actual lifetime risk for an adult man, that would only be 4%. Obviously we have to consider other risk factors, but the bottom line is we don’t need to be worried about the odd piece of bacon every once in a while🥓

Replying to prc this is probably one of the most relatable videos I’ve seen in a while. Misinformation and influencers (sometimes) unintentionally spreading pseudoscience makes health seem so overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Follow along for more no BS nutrition tips!

A few months ago I responded unprompted to the absolutely asinine fear mongering around glyphosate levels in Banza as reported by conspiracy wielding group Moms Across America ( ). If you recall, I pointed out that you would have to consume hundreds of bowls of pasta every single day to even begin to see any ill effects, and you’d likely explode from the fiber alone long before you got anywhere close. So I’ve always been a Banza Stan and was so thrilled when they reached out to Partner on this…

Who says you can’t enjoy a big, cozy bowl of pasta and feel amazing after 🤷‍♀️ Cacio e pepe is my forever fave—simple, classic, and absolutely delicious. But let’s face it: it’s not exactly packed with protein or fiber which generally means I feel hungry again soon after. That’s where my pantry hero comes in: chickpea pasta. 💛

Not only does it keep that creamy, cheesy vibe intact, but it also brings the goods with protein and fiber to keep me energized and satisfied. My top pick 🍕🍝🫘 It’s got 50% more protein and 3x the fiber of wheat pasta, meaning I can enjoy my cacio e pepe cravings without turning it into a "healthified" stir-fry situation. (We’ve all been there. 🥲)

Plant-based, affordable, and even kid-approved—it checks all the boxes. ✅ So let’s swap pasta night ideas! Drop your fave meatless recipes below or just check out the link in my bio if you’re here for all the noodly inspo. 🍝✨

We need to normalize fueling enough, even in aesthetic sports like ballet where appearance is anything. And yes, ballet is an art but it’s definitely a sport too. Thanks ✨💕🩰

You need to know this European health hack that's clinically shown to support heart health ( ). We're talking plant sterols, which have the potential to reduce LDL cholesterol by 7-12.5% within 2-3 weeks🤯

As a dietitian in North America, plant sterols are just another thing that Europe does right. Although you can get plant sterols naturally in your diet, it's hard to meet a clinical dose of 1.5-3g, and that's where fortified foods come in. There's so many options like yogurts, soya drinks and granola, and I'm hoping to see more in the Canadian and American markets soon.

Have you heard of plant sterols What are your favourite products with them
