He devoured the music industry with both major and independent labels, extending his career as an A&R Consultant to Elektra Records, Director of A&R for 3rd Street/J Records, SR V.P. of A&R for Launch Pad Ent./Warner Bros., and West Coast Chief of Operations for Immiggin.com. Naturally, Gerard established his own production company, MAAD PHUNK, which spawned a Grammy nomination, including platinum and gold records for his work with the group Hi Five and famed rap recording artists Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, music production for radio and television commercials, video games, movie soundtracks, casting for the animated Hip Hop Cartoon, Da Jammies and music affiliations with Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, MC Lyte, Mario and many more. Gerard's versatility in the music business has evolved from song writing and production to artist management and development. Gerard takes pride in his accomplishments but enjoys staying ahead of the curve by entering his latest venture as C.E.O. of Meade Music Group. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the label and A&R for the Label's first acts, F.L.O. (Flyest Lyrics Overall) and singer/dancer, Zshatwa. Gerard's drive and endurance in this business is just a glimpse of the further accolades he will receive and the worldwide recognition to come.
