My names Bodhi and I’m 23 years old entering a new chapter of my life. I’ve got some serious sh*te to figure out, what I want, who I want to be, why I am the way I am.

I just ended a 6 year relationship which was tying me to a place I didn’t want to be. It left me devastated but it was the right thing and in many ways it’s allowed doors to open I never even thought existed.

I really value you so I thought I’d write down how I’m feeling and a little about what makes me, me.

I have an incredible job offer in Europe next year, I’m about to spend a month in the Phillipines with my friends. i feel free in many ways, I can go anywhere, do anything, the world is my oyster.

Laughing with you boys, doing dumb sh*te and building a fat library of inside jokes in Spain is the time of my life.

I’m happening and life’s here for the ride. 23 years old now, this last year has been a roller coaster of highs and lows. Travelled Sri Lanka, bought a 36 year old van that sucks, spent good days with my family, moved to a new city, experienced heartbreak, said yes more then ever before and find myself sitting in Spain writing this next to people I met two weeks ago I now call mates.

I’ve got so much love for so many people and you all know who you are, I’m so damn glad you’re in my life.

P.s I was supposed to post this yesterday I was just having to good of a birthday to find the time ;)

10 + years of your life spent scrolling… imagine what you could achieve if you swapped out even just half of that time…

The daily average screen time is about 3.80 hours

Yearly this is 3.8 × 365 = 1,387 hours per year (57 days)

Over 70 years of life: 1,387 × 70 = 97,000 hours

97,000 ÷ (365 x 24) = approx 11 years spent on your phone…

My screen time right now (as someone who’s job is on there phone 😂😭) is 6-7 hours! Gawd damn

Jeans fit better when you do ab day

Been in the gym almost everyday for the past 8 months. Took the last ten days off and just went surfing but somehow I’ve come back more shredded then ever. Gotta drop a couple kgs and I’ll be pretty damn happy with my progress

How funny is this! A study found you match your 5 closest friend’s financial habits. If one of them’s ballin, your egos going to try and make you keep up. I sure didn’t need a study to tell me that, just a weekend with some wealthy friends and I’m eating oatmeal for the rest of the week. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one though 😂

My little brother made it to 18.

It’s been a pleasure watching you grow up.

We’ve had some iconic moments together, countless mornings learning to surf together before school, surfing in front of the rocks at pt Cartwright (one time it didn’t go so well for you, you’ve still got the scars!), bagels at the bagel bar, making YouTube videos during covid, skipping school to surf, that one time you beat me in chess and so many more.

You’ve also done some impressively dumb stuff we can only laugh at. Only a year into having a licence you’ve managed to crash 3 times (twice into unmoving objects at grandma speed), you cut 100’s of chilli’s without gloves on and had me calling an ambulance while your hands burned, you dislocated your finger in my leg rope while trying to catch a wave. There is so much more I just can’t put it on the internet ;)

I love you, here’s to being on our 80’s together and having another 100 things I could write about you
