Are farm land values dropping amid an Ag downturn? Nope. Are cash rents decreasing? Nope that's not happening either. "But I saw on the media that farmers are all going broke and Ag is in a crisis brought on by Trump's trade war." The numbers don't really back up that narrative either. Final kicker: Purdue's most recent farmer sentiment index has improved dramatically.

A new scientific review sends a strong warning: if we want to prevent catastrophic climate change, global meat consumption—especially beef—must drop sharply. In some countries, that means reductions of up to 90%.
