Congratulations to Greeley Central High School - GCHS senior Zerisenay Tsige for winning one of five $50,000 Comeback Cash Scholarships from the State of Colorado! Along with his mother and four siblings, Zerisenay emigrated from Eritrea to the United States in 2013. The high school senior maintains good grades, has great school attendance, and also lettered in track and field.

We wish you all the best, Zerisenay!



Coloradans 12 to 17 years of age were eligible for the scholarship drawing after receiving at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Key Club is selling memorial ribbons to support those impacted by the Boulder shooting. Ribbons come in a variety of sizes and styles and will be available for a $1 donation this week at lunch or in room 305. All proceeds will go to the Boulder County Community Foundation to support victims and families.

Central Students: Please check your school email for the GCHS Honored Teacher nomination form! Nominate a teacher at Central (does not have to be one of your current teachers) who goes above and beyond to serve Greeley Central and our students! Nominations are due March 31st.

Beginning Monday 12/7, a group of GCHS students will be collecting toy donations for those in need for the holidays. If you are able to help, please drop off gifts in the box outside of the main office. Gifts will be collected routinely throughout the week! Due to severe winter weather, all District 6 schools and facilities will be closed Monday, October 26th 2020. This includes students that are learning remotely due to quarantine and those learning through our online program. Please keep your children home and safe during this time. Thank you!
