Mutuse completed high school in 1997, but joined university in 2015 to pursue Law, a 4 yr course that he studied for 11 years.

Before joining Uni, in 2004, he became a communications officer in the office of the Government spokesperson then Mr Alfred Mutua.

In 2013, he became the chief of staff at Machakos county under Alfred Mutua.

He was elected as Kibwezi West MP in 2022 with a Maendeleo Chap Chap ticket.
