DEATH AND FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

We regret to announce the promotion to Glory of Lillian Kamande on Sunday 11/1/2020 following a long battle with cancer. She was wife to Peter Kamande of Dallas. Lilian wa mom to Ruth Mwathi (Virginia), Arthur Gitau (Dallas), Njambi (UK) and Kuria (Kenya). Lillian and her husband came to the USA to visit their daughter Ruth and shortly after, in 2016, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has fought bravely for the last 4 years until the Lord called her home. She was a faithful member of Neema Gospel Church.

Per her final wishes, the family is making arrangements to take her body back to Kenya for burial. Her husband and daughter will be travelling to Kenya too for the funeral.

We are kindly asking the community for financial support toward the funeral and travel expenses. The budget is around $18,000.

It with profound sadness that we announce the untimely death of Mr Julius Kimani Kibe, formerly of the Teachers Service Commission(TSC), after a short illness.
He is the Husband to Mary Njeri Kimani, father to Rose Ndumbi, Mwatha Kimani & Caroline Waithira Mwangi (Dallas Texas, USA), Alex Kimani, Pastor Caleb Kimani (Kenya) and Robert Kimani( Perth, Western Australia)
Grandfather to Joshua, Naomi, Sabrina among many others.
Uncle to Simon Macharia, Andrew Kibe and Greg Mburu (Kentex) all of Dallas TX, among many others in Kenya and beyond.
Due to the ongoing social distancing measures, we will not be able to hold physical prayer meeting to mourn our departed Dad. We ask that you join our family in prayers during this hard time. Funeral preparation meetings are going on daily at his home in Kimunyu, Gatundu South.
The cortège leaves KU Referral funeral home on Friday October 9th 2020 at 8am, to be followed by a funeral service @ PCEA Kimunyu Church, Gatundu South, Kiambu county. The burial will be at his home in Thīrīrīka village, Kimunyu sub-location, Kiambu county.
