Our series about comedians premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on YLE TV2. In 'Ei naurata' ('Not Funny') esteemed comedians reveal their deepest secrets and darkest tragedies, that have fueled their search for comedy gold. They talk candidly about p**n addiction, depression, gender roles, social media and transitioning from female to male.

Although the series was finished 4 years ago, the souls appearing in it are timeless.

Cinema Bijou co-production 'Circology' premiered in France in June and has been touring festivals with the mAPs European dance film collection. Now it will premiere back home in Finland, with the whole collection, this Saturday 4pm at New Beginnings Festival at Malakta.

Present to tell jokes will be director Tero Peltoniemi, choreographer Antti Seppänen and producers Jukka Rajala and Annika Sillander.

Synopsis for the mind-bending spectacle goes:
All of his life Atlas has lived next to a wind turbine in his remote and closed, yet safe and comfortable town. Although a master of arm-spinning, Atlas progressively finds himself breaking away from the circular communal tradition of his town... Until the explosion of his wind turbine burns his life’s meaning to the ground.

MAPS • migrating Artists Project is a Creative Europe project in which five countries jointly produce community events and a dance film on the theme of Power.

In June Toni Air was screened in competition at FEST New Directors New Films Festival in the lovely Espinho, Portugal. The screening was held at the planetorium seen in the 2nd to 4th photos, which gave all shots a feel very similar to the fisheye lens. A wonderful festival, highly recommended. ✊
