You, spending idle hours on the internet when you should be working/training for a triathalon/spending time with your loved ones/bathing. You, waiting and waiting and waiting for that sudden burst of inspiration/adrenaline/connection. Imagine yourself actually making a statement. Doing something proactive. Different. Participatory. And all you have to do is buy a ticket and sit quietly or not so q
uietly in nice cushy seat. You can be the salvation to a select few who hoped their story, hours of rehearsals, rewrites, and endless cups of soy lattes were not in vain. One or two hours is all we ask. You don’t even have to talk. You just have to go. But how, you ask. Where do I go? What do I see? Should I bring a flask or do they sell alcohol during intermission? We know there are all kinds of [blank] out there, too, and we are here to help you w**d through the [blank] to find the excellent theater that, believe it or not, exists in LA. We call that good theater “outside the circle of [blank]” The quality of LA Theater recently compared to other major cities has been under heated debate, but not without reason. Like any Art scene, there is a lot of [blank] out there, inside the circle of [blank] if you will, but there are some hidden diamonds among that [blank], and we are here to tell where to find them. Let us see the [blank] shows, and the good ones, and then all you have to do is see an excellent piece of theater that means something! Well, [blank]! You made it [blank] free! This is what we, the helpful people at [Blank] the Audience are here for. We are the devil on your shoulder that says go out there and live, god[blank]it, and the angel that smacks you upside the head and tells you to get your [blank] moving. You. Yes, you. We’re waiting for you.
