Imrah today led the intercessory prayers in church. Our fourth generation to be part of this congregation. My great grandfather used to come for church service here in the 1930s. The Urdu service was held at noon in those days. Desis (locals) considered it as an honour to be part of this church. My father became the church member in 1950s. He was one of few graduates at the time. He left civil service at the time to join church service. He served under grandfather of current member Sunita Shams. My father later became the General Manager of Punjab Religious Book Society. A fiery orator he used to preach in church and I remember idealising him in childhood. He changed his name of Inayat Nawab Din to Inayat Masih as his testimony of serving God Almighty. He would have been very proud of Imrah for carrying on the tradition. May God bless her abundantly.
