Seasons in Black’s first two albums, "Deadtime Stories" (2005) and "The Swansong Diearies" (2013), will finally be available on vinyl for the very first time. Both re-releases will drop on November 21, 2025, just one day before the band’s Homecoming Headliner Show in Cham, Germany. These long-awaited editions mark an important milestone in the band’s history and are sure to become treasures for fans and collectors alike.

For many years, Maladie have defied the limitations of genre, walking a path entirely their own. With "Symptoms V", the avant-garde collective once again challenges conventions, pushing their unique "plague metal" into new, uncharted territory while remaining unmistakably MALADIE.

The new EP is a manifestation of contrasts: raw and unrelenting, yet intricate and atmospheric. It retains the band’s trademark fusion of blackened ferocity, progressive structures and unexpected twists - but with a freshness that proves evolution doesn’t mean losing identity. Recorded with a focus on organic intensity, Symptoms V sounds alive, unpredictable and utterly uncompromising.

Themes of time, futility, creation and decay permeate the five tracks, each a sonic embodiment of the inescapable weight of existence. From the oppressive gravity of “Black Hole Weight in Our Hearts” to the unsettling ritualism of “Procreation of a Dead God”, the EP captures a sense of inevitability that resonates deeply in today’s world.

Symptoms V doesn’t simply continue MALADIE’s story, it reinforces why they remain one of the most daring characters in extreme music: ever-changing, yet always true to themselves.

Since their “return” with The Last Sunsets in 2018, NIGHT IN GALES haven’t just continued, they’ve evolved, delivering melodic death metal both faithful to the genre’s core and worthy of its legends. Now, as we mark the 30th anniversary of their debut, the band returns to their roots, not out of nostalgia, but with fresh ferocity. Sylphlike (Re-Recording 2025) reimagines their first release from the ground up, a resurrection that proves how far they’ve come and why the original still matters.

The re-recording remains true to the raw spirit and unbridled power of the 1995 demo, yet is imbued with the precision and authority of musicians three decades sharper. Recorded in a deliberately short and intense session to capture the same spontaneity and live feeling that made the original so unique, the result is as immediate and visceral as ever. While the songs are now 30 years old, they still stand strong today, fitting seamlessly alongside the band’s recent work.

Mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström, the architect behind genre-defining classics like "Slaughter of the Soul" (AT THE GATES), "The Jester Race" and "Whoracle" (IN FLAMES) and "The Gallery" (DARK TRANQUILLITY), "Sylphlike (Re-Recording 2025)" delivers a sound that bridges past and present with unflinching intensity.

The new cover art echoes the album’s rebirth while remaining close to the original design, hand-painted once again by Paolo Girardi, who also brought the "Shadowreaper" artwork to life. Back in 1995, the original Sylphlike demo sold an unprecedented 7,000 copies - an absolute rarity in the scene and now, three decades later, it becomes the first ever re-recorded death metal demo by Night In Gales.

We’re proud to announce that Deimhal - one of Finland’s most promising symphonic black metal acts - has joined the Apostasy Records roster!

Formed in 2021 and made up of seasoned musicians from Catamenia, Kalmah, Armada North and more, Deimhal blends haunting orchestration, icy melodies and crushing riffs into a sound that’s both majestic and uncompromising. Their first two EPs, The Grand Gathering (2023) and The Diabolical Liberation (2024), have already carved a place for them in the international underground. Apostasy Records is excited to support Deimhal in their next chapter. New music is already in the works and it promises to take their vision even further into the abyss.

No shortcuts, no digital trickery. The newest standalone track is recorded and mixed entirely analog at Studio Red Roof Loftsound. Tracked on an Otari MTR 90 24-track tape machine, mixed through a Raindirk Symphony LN1 console and finalized on a Studer A80 2-track - this release is as real as it gets.

The song captures Sacrifire’s signature heaviness with even more rawness and warmth - unpolished, powerful and straight to the bone. The artwork comes from Simon Bossert and perfectly matches the atmosphere of a band that continues to carve its own path: dark, loud and unmistakably human.

Yesterday, the (music) world lost a true icon with the passing of Ozzy Osbourne. Much has already been said, yet no words will ever fully do justice to such an extraordinary person. Simply put, “thanks for everything” is the very least one can say - each of us carries our own story connected to him or his music. He was able to say goodbye to everyone one last time at his final concert and even in that farewell, he left another lasting mark of kindness and madness in his legacy.
