Adding colour to this staircase - how did it turn out? What do you guys think? Personally I LOVE the colour combo. There are a few areas on the door that I’m going to sharpen up with a two-part epoxy but I’m pretty happy with the finish overall. Now it’s time to rip up those carpets

How about we aim for a solid 90% perfect with these old homes? Because quite frankly, it won’t get finished if I’m aiming for perfection.

A cute little mug shelf is exactly what this space needed, I’m glad I finally thrifted the perfect one. Upcycling it was easy, I stripped the varnish using varnish remover, a scraper and a wire brush. A light hand sanding finished this piece off perfectly!
