One update to my service list-
I have taken acrylic off my menu for now and will be switching acrylic clients to gel or polygel (acrylic alternative) because the salon does not have proper ventilation for the acrylic odor. I will try the odorless monomer for my few remaining acrylic clients but those appointments will have to be booked in the late evenings when the other stylists are leaving. (I rarely have an acrylic booking anyway as I’m mostly gel.)

Policy Reminders and Price List

No call/No show- 1st offense $25 rebooking fee. 2nd offense rebooking fee and required to prepay future services with no refund. 3rd offense will be a ban from booking.

Late appointment- I give a ten minute grace period. You may have to omit part of a service if late to fit in the remainder of time. I book clients back to back and allot the amount of time I need for each appointment.

Removals/foreign work- removals of other people’s work must be added to your service when booking an appointment to allot the amount of time needed. If you make a gel polish appointment and I don’t know you have enhancements on your nails, I may not have enough time to complete your new service. Some of the products other techs use take a lot of time to remove.

I do not do fills on other peoples work unless it is for sure hard gel. I do not fill acrylic from other salons.

Fixes- I will fix absolutely anything that goes wrong with a set of nails I do at no charge up to two weeks after. I will fix anything you do up to 7 days after. I stand by my work but sometimes things happen beyond my control due to temperature changes or humidity or medications or a variety of factors.

I have had a lot of new clients recently and so many people are coming in with extreme damage on their nails from bad techs over using their electric nail file.

I took photos of this one to show the damage an e-file can do when the tech has no care for the health of your nail. All the areas that are pink are where the nail is so thin that it’s almost skin. The lines are from the bit digging in to the nails. I could not touch this clients nails with a file. After very gently removing the dip she had, we decided on gel x as the most flexible and gentle option to cover her nails while they grow out. This damage can only be grown off and cut.

The good news is we can recover from this over time.
