If you would've told me last year that I’d spend my Sunday morning hot-gluing bottle caps to a stick for bugs, I would’ve laughed. But here we are. And honestly? I’m in love with this goofy little project 🌿🦋

After losing my grandma last fall, I started spending more time in the garden. She was the kind of person who could whisper to bees and have butterflies land on her shoulder like it was nothing. This little DIY is kind of my tribute to that - a handmade watering post just for our tiny pollinator friends. 🐝

I used a branch I found on a walk, some plastic bottle caps, and a glue gun. Filled the caps with water and tucked the stick down into the soil. The bees found it so fast I swear it felt like she sent them. You can even paint the caps (a sweet soul on the Tedooo app messaged me and said she decorates hers like tiny flowers, so that’s next!).

It’s simple. It's kind. And it reminds me that healing doesn’t have to be loud or big. Sometimes it’s just gluing things to a stick and remembering love in the quietest ways.
