Hi Guys, I am aware that MANY of you aren't sure what or who I am as a Dj! I am everything you've seen and heard and probably then some. I am a different Dj at every event and that's what has made me a successful Dj. Of Course I love the Glamorous Jobs with a Packed House and a Fantastic Backdrop of Lights and Stage gear but that's not the typical Gig for most Dj's. I'd Like to tell you a bit about what I do: I am sometimes a NOLA style Emcee that dances and sings to the music to encourage the crowd to participate, sometimes I am simply background music for an event and I am only there to set the mood without performing. I am often a Line/ step Dance instructor. I more often than not, am working a gig that requires me to be low key and play a certain kind of music that fits the Clients music tastes or the events atmosphere. I Am and Have been a Dj that plays Hip Hop R&B Club Bangers in a bar / play Yacht Rock for the Cocktail Hour before a Wedding reception / Play a Crazy Mix of Pop, Line Dance and Sing Alongs for a Parade Route / Go full HAM on the Stage to keep the Crowd going with Singing and Dancing and full crowd emersion / start off quiet and professional and transform a romantic union into full blown party Mode for a reception / I play hit remixes, house music or your favorite EDM if that's what you hire me for / Go Full Disco/ 70's Dance Music Party Because Disco is King LOL / I quick mix or play full songs with smooth blends (which seems to be popular at most of my gigs because people like to sing along).
Sometimes I knock it out of the pArk and sometimes I am just average and that is hard for me as I try my best to make EVery Party what My Clients want. So if you've seen me play a Gig and I didn't play your kind of music or I was too over the top, remember that I try to be the Dj my clients ask for! If you want a crazy Emcee, I got you. If you want Me to play chill love songs to your plants, well I can do that too!
Here is a sample of just some of the various bookings I've had since last year: Wedding/ reception Dj (of course) with and without the Bad A$$ Dudes in the Rhythm Chasers Band, Mardi Gras Balls for Krewes in Slidell, Orange Beach and Bogalusa, Street Festivals and Markets, Bars - Clubs, Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties, Anniversary Parties, Holiday Parties, Parade Krewe Line Ups, Corporate Parties, Boomtown Casino Ladies Night, Band Breaks for Rhythm Chasers at Dan B's and other venues, Full costume Halloween Parties and (2 of My favorites>)Float Fest Slidell Mega Party, Bras for a Cause Fund raiser, and now Heading to Burning Man to be a camp Dj. Each of these gigs require something different from me in performance and music and I look forward to what comes next.
I Love Music. I don't have 1 set playlist for all my gigs and My Music Knowledge is Vast. You Want to hear the Rat Pack? Yeah I love some Frankie Blue Eyes. Want to hear 2000's Hip Hop yep I got you 100. You want to hear Diplo, Angelina, Sofi Tukker, Stevie B, Vintage Culture... all in one night... can do. You want top 40 from the 70's to today well that's the hard part... you know how many great songs are in that grouping hahahahah but yeah I can most def hook you up with that. Your guests aren't the same as another events guests and I don't treat them that way.
I hope you've enjoyed me at gigs and I hope this helps you understand that you don't always get the same personality but you will always get my best effort to give my clients what they want!
