We are proud to welcome rsn to oval.

rsn creates music for galleries and vernissages, open spaces and resonating locations, special and creative places.
The sounds move in the field of tension between drone and ambient, which explores sonic surfaces and their noticeable depths.
The special feature of rsn are the drones that are consistently thought through to the end, which manifest themselves over the course of the compositions, some of which are over 15 minutes long, are overlaid by further ambient surfaces in order to switch from calm and silence to dissonance - but this happens almost imperceptibly.
Quiet, rather contemplative sounds gradually develop into an alert sound construct. Sometimes, however, it remains calm and inward-looking, meditative and floating. rsn mainly uses a bass and a series of effect pedals, but supplements the spectrum here and there with field recordings, synthesizers and the like.

"approaches #1" is a study based on electronically amplified objects.
The first phase is the selection and microphoning of objects that are familiar in everyday life and in the context of music. The second phase is the alienation and merging.
Live, the tracks run through effect pedals, creating a continuous drone. "approaches #1"
is a shallow monster that is both demanding and highly immersive.
