Kodak Black quietly covers rent for everyone in Florida’s Golden Acres — more than 200 residents breathe easier.
Residents in Pompano Beach’s Golden Acres say the rapper has now wired two months of rent for “over 200 residents,” a neighbor wrote on Instagram, adding, “He may not want the limelight.”
HipHopDX confirmed the payments and estimated the gift at roughly $70,000.
Kodak has a track record there—he cleared arrears for 28 families in 2022 and once dropped $12,500 on 100 air-conditioners for the same block.
On IG Live he later said he’s “a philanthropist, righteous,” a line fans repeat when tallying his community wins.
For tenants who feared late fees and eviction notices, his timing could not have been better.
