Why didn't anyone tell us that our dreams could hurt us too?
Why is everyone talking about toxic relationships but why didn’t they mention that we can also have a harmful relationship with our own goals and aspirations ?
Have they ever experienced that crushing feeling of pouring years of hard work into pursuing their dreams, only to end up back where they started?
They keep telling you to never give up, but they haven't walked in your shoes, enduring years of hopeful mornings, only to collapse into bed each night burdened by disappointment.
Well, I guess they didn’t.
