Strong recreational programs are the heartbeat of a healthy community. They give our youth safe spaces to grow, learn teamwork, and build confidence all while staying active and engaged.

⚠️ RECALL ALERT: Walmart Ozark Trail Water Bottles ⚠️

Walmart is recalling about 850,000 Ozark Trail 64 oz Stainless Steel Insulated Water Bottles sold since 2017. The lid can forcefully eject and has already caused serious injuries, including two cases of permanent vision loss.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warns these bottles pose “serious impact and laceration hazards.”

✅ If you own one, stop using it immediately and check recall instructions.

📢 REMINDER PSA: Helping Hands for Back-to-School Families

Queen Bees for Christ Community Outreach Ministry is hosting a Back to School Give Away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Family of Grace Church, 4200 S. MacArthur Drive, Alexandria, LA.

Families in need can receive:
• Free school uniforms (Sizes 4 to Adult)
• Underwear, socks, sneakers
• School supplies
• Fresh Start hygiene bags for the first 100 families

Prayers for those who accept
Register for door prizes
Free food: Snow cones, popcorn, and hot dogs

⚠️ Children must be present with an adult to receive items.

Let’s come together as a community and make sure every child starts the school year with confidence and care.

UrbanCast extends heartfelt condolences to the family, church family, and friends of Rev. Clarence Dupar, Jr.

As we reflect on his remarkable life and legacy, we are reminded of 2 Timothy 4:6-8:

“For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

The Celebration of Life for Rev. Dupar will take place Friday, July 11, 2025:
• Public Viewing & Visitation: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at True Vine Baptist Church, 831 Broadway Avenue, Alexandria, LA.
• Funeral Service: 11:00 AM at True Vine Baptist Church.
• Final Committal Rites with Full Military Honors: 1:45 PM at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, 2202 Military Highway, Pineville, LA.

Rev. Dupar’s legacy as a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, mentor, and community leader will forever live in the countless lives he touched. His voice, his guidance, and his love for God’s people will never be forgotten.

We are praying for comfort, strength, and peace for his family, New Bethel Community Missionary Baptist Church, and all whose lives he touched.

He knew His name. He served with love. He finished his race well.
