Update on Onyx's first day in his forever home... he's doing amazing! From his adopter:

"He is doing extremely well!! He's really surprised me. I thought there would be more adjustment or little issues being in a home but he's just chill and calm. He's a happy sweet boy!"

I am so incredibly grateful Onyx, age 9, now has a home after 7+ years of waiting!! Thank you Animal Charity of Ohio for never giving up on him!!

After 7 years at Animal Charity of Ohio, Onyx is going home! I can't put into words how this moment feels.

Thank you so much to everybody at the shelter, everybody back home that spread the word, and his new adopters. Onyx didn't choose how his life started, but now his life at home begins ❤️🐶
