Pull your radio out of the hope chest and make sure it’s tuned to 107.9 WRFA because now through September we air airing the 10,000 Maniacs audio documentary Can’t Ignore the Train every Saturday at 8 pm

Hear the early history of the band from those that were there. And we’ll close out each episode with a block of music from the band for good measure!

It was so much fun yesterday going live underneath the Reg Lenna marquee for the Local Rush Hour!

Thank you to all the guests who stopped by to chat on the air (Emily Drew, Len Barry, Steve Schuver, Sukanya Burman, Daryl Simons) as well as listeners who stopped by and to all those who tuned in on their radio. Thank you!

We don’t do enough live remote broadcasts. Should we do some more?!

While we won’t be doing the Local Rush Hour under the theatre marquee today, you can still tune into a new LRH at 4 pm on YOUR community radio station - 107.9 WRFA

Have you listened yet?

We will be back with a new one next week for ya, but have you checked out this months episodes so far?!

A total honor having Nancy Wilson of Heart on the show as well as John Doe of X who made his PCH return! Both guests were so much fun to talk with these last two episodes.

Give episode 170 and 171 of the pod with John and Nancy a listen everywhere now and keep an eye out because both Heart and X are on tour for the rest of the summer and right into fall! I’m excited to catch both of them on the road in the next few weeks.
