Maykel Piron is one of the three founders of – and the driving force behind – Armada Music, the biggest independent dance music label in the world with offices in Amsterdam, New York and London. With thirty years of music industry experience under his belt (of which the past twenty years have been spent as the CEO of Armada Music), Piron is one of the masterminds of today's electronic music scene.

Miami Music Week 2025 was unforgettable. Every year the industry gathers in Miami to kick off the new season. We spent the week surrounded by incredible music, amazing sets, inspiring conversations and opportunities with artists from around the world. Hosting our poolside Armada Invites party was a highlight and the energy throughout the week was something special.

To top it all off, was voted once again as ‘Label of the Year’ during the EDMA’s. And our radioshow ‘A State of Trance’ again as best radio show. We’re grateful beyond words, to our artists, the entire Armada Family and our fans who massively voted for us. Feeling very proud!
