On Memorial Day, we remember all military personnel who honorably served this country.

Ollie Babbitt was a man who dedicated his entire life to honor. A native of Wisconsin, he followed in his father's footsteps and joined the military as a teenager.

Ollie served with the Army Corps of Engineers, stationed in Iwo Jima. He went on to proudly serve in the National Guard for 30 years.

The first Wednesday of every April is National Day of Hope - a day dedicated to remembering millions of children affected by abuse and neglect. And a day to take action.

This footage is from Childhelp's Drive The Dream event where celebrities and supporters raised millions for the cause.

Every child deserves a safe and loving future.

Thank you to the Founders of Childehlp, Sara and Yvonne, for being brave warriors in this fight. Even into your 90s, you are still inspiring all of us!

How exciting to be part of a million-dollar night! Congratulations to A New Leaf on raising $1,117,603, marking the nonprofit’s first-ever $1 million fundraising event.

Carey Pena was the Emcee and helped facilitate the program, which included many beautiful and authentic moments. Todd Skinner, a longtime advocate facing a brain cancer diagnosis, received the Legacy Award for his unwavering commitment to fundraising for A New Leaf. Spinato’s Pizzeria and Family Kitchen received the Community Impact Award for their dedication to helping families experiencing homelessness.

With nearly 40 programs, A New Leaf is committed to “Helping Families, Changing Lives” by providing life-changing services to those facing domestic violence, homelessness, and other heartbreaking challenges.

This young woman, Natalie Parra Miguel, inspires me. At age 19, she is already an accomplished artist. She created one of the pieces traveling in a Democracy exhibit across the country on behalf of the Phoenix Indian Center.

This portrait is of Natalie's Grandmother. The painting is life-like and beautiful and speaks volumes about women, hard work, sacrifice, determination, and love.

On this International Women's Day, I celebrate Natalie Parra Miguel and all the women I am honored to interview and get to know who make the world a better place. I stand on your shoulders every day, trying to do my best.

Thank you, Phoenix Indian Center, for allowing us to do a series of storytelling videos about your incredible artists. We hope the impact reaches far and wide.

Because miracles do happen...

So many people with Down syndrome and their families are told they'll never do so many things. It's why 'Never Say Never' is the perfect theme for this coming weekend’s GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix gala.

With the help of GiGi's Playhouse Phoenix, there's only one 'never' that matters, and that's never giving up. Like this incredible 32-year old non-verbal woman who spoke for the first time after just one month at GiGi’s.

This organization holds a special place in our hearts and we are honored to be a part of helping them raise awareness.
