We're very sorry this happened, but this is again a re-upload of the mixing tutorial. Our last upload had a slight syncing problem halfway through the video.

We're really sorry we had to re-upload the video again, but we choose to have a good video we actually stand for on the channel, rather than a video with a sync problem.

Hi yall! Happy 2016! Let's start it off by saying : I'm doing some awesome mixing tutorials, and you will be able to download the multitracks that I've recorded especially for this tutorial, for free!

I have just recorded the first tutorial (1 hour!) and I now need to cut that down and edit it. Despite how I can manage to trim it down, it will still be a (very) long tutorial. -What do you guys think about that? We will really build a mix from the ground up, so it really takes some time.

Besides that I'm still working on mixing theory part II and will soon start on reverbs and many other much requested tutorials.

2015 has been a year with too few tutorials, but I really want to try to compensate for that in 2016. Please share my tutorials with the whole world, as we should really need to try and grow the channel this year!

In this extra tutorial we're going to look at how to create a reversed reverb effect, or pre-verb, on vocals and music. This reversed reverb gives a pretty spooky sound, as you're kinda being 'pulled into the sound'.

In this video I'm explaining the concept and the basics of how to achieve this reversed reverb effect. We'll go over a few examples and apply this effect on vocals with both a reversed reverb, and a reversed delay to create some interesting effects!

As we're just covering the basics of this effect here, to get it sound 'right' for your project you will probably have to play around with automation a lot, to get the right timing for your reverbs. Also by changing the parameters of the reverb you can shape the sound.(longer or shorter reverb tails, pre-delay, damping, frequency content, etc..) You'll find that all these tweaks will have a great influence on the overall sound of your pre-verb.

Hi y'all! I have been working on a lot of new tutorials. (Actually written over 8 tuts so far..) Also I have just recorded the upcoming "Mixing Explained II - Approaching a mix" and it's about 25 minutes long! So I am trying to either trim that down, or make it a 3-piece tutorial.. What do you guys think?

It's actually the first time I have done a podcast to update you guys with, hope you'll enjoy it.

I have mentioned that I have got some exciting stuff coming up, as I have recently recorded some multitracks at Redbull Studio's that we will be using on the upcoming 'hands on' mixing tutorials. -And yeah, you guys can download these multitracks so you can mix along with the same material as I use in the tutorial!
