As the Special Assistant to The Governor of Akwa Ibom state on Digital Content Curation, I am always fortunate to witness from a first hand perspective, the ground breaking initiatives the Governor has outlined for our dear state.
One of such initiatives is His Excellency’s Unified Payroll System, we understand that transitions to effect government policies are never easy but with the right ideas, a fantastic team and proper ex*****on, Greatness can be achieved.
On that note I joined key stakeholders and payroll officers from the Mainstream Civil Service, Akwa Ibom State Universal Basic Education Board (AKSUBEB), and the Local Government Civil Service Commission for a strategic session concerning The Unified Payroll System at the Office of the Accountant General last Friday.
This session was so engaging and enlightening and I must commend My Boss Dr Frank Udo Ekpenyong(The Honorable Commissioner for Science and Digital Economy) for his excellent leadership and unique approach to executing his excellency’s directives as well as his efforts in fostering a good relationship between Our Ministry and other departments in the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service
