Los Angeles has been home to Barbie since 1959–it has always been a land of limitless possibilities. The current wildfires have left us speechless: in horror at the losses, and in awe of the neighbors that have shown up for each other. Across this diverse city of millions, we’ve been reminded that no one helps faster or more effectively than our community – and rebuilding is a community effort.
We are supporting relief efforts through our work with the Mattel Children’s Foundation, led by our nonprofit partners including the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, The Salvation Army USA, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Good+Foundation, Save the Children US, Feed the Children, and Baby2Baby.
We are thankful to all the first responders who continue to protect our home and are amazed by the brave girls in our community who quickly came together to empower one another. You’ve shown us that together, we can do anything.
