This East Side was, as they say, “born yesterday.” It was created to fill a serious gap in coverage of the Upper East Side and Midtown East, not just as destinations, but as neighborhoods. We cover the “waterfront,” from Fifth Avenue to the East River — from Yorkville to Sutton Place. And we are here to serve all the people with news and comment on culture, crime, fun, food, real estate, shopping and even the great outdoors (of which there’s a good deal).
